In his speech, Saki West Local Government chairman, Engr Sarafadeen Ahmed OMIRINDE said he was happy to have a very extensive security meeting at this time when security situation in and around us needed urgent and general attention. He said a lot had been discussed and that the residents should be rest assured that the security situation would keep improving because he had confidence in the personalities of the people in charge.
He used the occasion to praise and appreciate the current Saki Divisional Police Officer D.P.O, DSS Director, NSCDC's O.C.
He specially appreciated the untiring efforts of 'the great man of Saki', Baba Samson Ojoawo. He described Baba as resilient, dogged and ever ready natives' defender who was always ready to defend Saki and Okeogun with the last drop of his blood.
He also praised the Vigilantes' Commander who he described as as small in stature but mighty in his native intelligence to defending Saki West and the environs.
Finally, he thanked some staff of the local government and advised them to support the incoming leadership. He advised youths who might have to opportunity to hold a political position in future to thread softly
. He thanked his political associates and followers too.
