Oyo 2027: Eleruwa of Eruwa Commends APC Governorship Hopeful, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem (AKK)’s Forward-Thinking Vision, Says Oyo and Nigeria Are Rich in Talent.
The Eleruwa of Eruwa affirmed during my visit that our meeting reinforced his belief that Oyo State and Nigeria are blessed with many brilliant and talented individuals capable of transforming society.
Kabiyesi commended me for clearly stating that I am not in this race to rebuke or fault anyone, but rather to propagate what I intend to do differently ahead of 2027. He described my approach as mature, focused, and development-driven.
He also appreciated my position that instead of investigating the factors behind the failures of others, I would rather study the factors that made some people successful, noting that such an approach would save time and energy. The royal father agreed with this mindset and further advised that beyond studying success, I should also examine how to surpass existing achievements and become even better than those considered successful.

Additionally, Kabiyesi aligned with my view that parents naturally pray for their children to be more successful than they are. Drawing a parallel to governance, he stated that every political appointee should equally desire and pray that their successors advance the state beyond the level at which they left it.

Kabiyesi also commended my musical tone and the versatility of my talents, noting the various abilities he observed within the short period we spent with him.

I was warmly received in Ibarapa Land, and the visit reflected our shared aspiration for progressive leadership and sustainable development in Oyo State.
