It is with profound joy and a deep sense of institutional pride that I extend my warmest congratulations to our newly elected State Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State, His Excellency, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo. Your emergence is not merely a political transition but a triumphant

homecoming for a seasoned administrator and a quintessential elder statesman. Having served with absolute class as the Deputy Governor during the transformative era of the late Senator Ishaq Abiola Ajimobi, you bring to this office an unmatched pedigree of excellence and a hardened progressive resolve. The "Koseleri" years, which you co-piloted, remain a reference point for administrative sophistication in our state, and I have no doubt that you will infuse this same level of maturity and strategic brilliance into the leadership of our great party. 

I must also laud the highest depth of political maturity, integrity, and resolve demonstrated by our party leaders and members, which midwifed a remarkably rancour-free congress. The Oyo APC has once again shown the world that it is a house built on the rock of logical thinking and professional political gameplay. I congratulate every stakeholder, the silent workers, the tactical thinkers, and the dedicated delegates, who all worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that we emerged from this process as a more cohesive and formidable family. This display of internal democracy, devoid of the usual friction, is a pure reflection of the fact that we are ready to reclaim our mandate and pilot the affairs of Oyo State toward a more prosperous future. 

Otunba Adeyemo, your role as a bridge-builder and party elder has always been quintessential. I recall with immense gratitude your presence, alongside other eminent party leaders, during the grand reception when I formally joined the APC last year — a gesture that signalled your commitment to inclusivity and the expansion of our progressive fold. As a leader who has remained consistent in both governance and party affairs, I am confident that your chairmanship will give a robust voice to every interest and tendency within the party. You possess the capacity and the political wit required to navigate our diverse sections, ensuring that the APC remains the only credible alternative for the people of Oyo State as we march toward 2027 and beyond. 

To the newly elected members of the State Executive Council, I heartily congratulate you all and charge you to see your positions as a sacred trust. You must emulate the core ideals of progressive politics as envisioned by our founding fathers, - ideals centered on the welfare of the people, social justice, and disciplined leadership. The road to 2027 requires us to be relentless in our grassroots mobilisation and intentional in our policy advocacy. Under the guidance of Otunba Adeyemo, I urge you to work with a singular focus on the progress and total victory of the party. Let us build a party structure that is not only win-ready but service-oriented, and one that ensures that the "Renewed Hope" agenda is felt in every ward across the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State. 

We must let the message go forth that the APC in Oyo State is more united, more focused, and more determined than ever. We have a chairman who is a veteran of successful battles and a leadership team that reflects the best of our intellectual and political assets. Together, we shall restore the "Pacesetter" status of our dear state and deliver a government that truly reflects the aspirations of our people.
