Barr. Akeem Adedeji Agbaje, frontline gubernatorial aspirant of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State for the 2027 election, has expressed heartfelt condolences to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, following the passing of his mother, Alhaja Sidikat Abake Basiru.
In a condolence message, Barr Akeem Agbaje described the passing of the family matriarch as a painful loss, not only to the Basiru family but also to all who were privileged to know her as a woman of virtue, humility, and strong family values.
“On behalf of my family and supporters, I extend my heartfelt condolences to our National Secretary, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, and the entire Basiru family on the passing of their beloved mother, Alhaja Sidikat Abake Basiru. The loss of a mother is profound, but we take solace in the noble life she lived and the enduring legacy she left behind through her children and those whose lives she touched.”
“I pray that Almighty Allah forgives all her shortcomings, expands and illuminates her grave, grants her eternal rest in Aljanah Firdaus, and blesses the entire Basiru family with strength, patience, and His divine comfort. May her gentle soul rest in perfect peace.”
He further prayed that the cherished memories and exemplary life of the late Alhaja Sidikat Abake Basiru would continue to remain a source of comfort and inspiration to her family and all who knew her.
