HIJRAH 1448: COL. GBENGA ADEGBOLA (RTD) FELICITATES WITH MUSLIM UMMAH, URGES VIGILANCE AND PEACEFUL COEXISTENCE
Retired Nigerian Army Officer and the most popular APC Oyo senatorial aspirant, Colonel Gbenga Adegbola, has extended warm felicitations to the Muslim Ummah across the Oyo North Senatorial District on the occasion of the Islamic New Year, Hijrah 1448 AH.
In his goodwill message, Col. Adegbola described the Hijrah celebration as a period of reflection, sacrifice, faith, and renewed commitment to the teachings of Islam. He urged Muslims to emulate the virtues of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) by promoting peace, unity, tolerance, and love within their communities.
The retired military officer also called on residents of Oyo North to remain security conscious at all times. He advised community members to be vigilant, promptly report suspicious activities to relevant security agencies, and continue supporting efforts aimed at maintaining peace and stability across the district. His emphasis on security aligns with his longstanding advocacy for community safety and effective security coordination.
Col. Adegbola further prayed for Allah's guidance, mercy, and abundant blessings upon all Muslim faithful and the entire people of Oyo North as they begin the new Islamic year. He expressed hope that Hijrah 1448 would usher in greater peace, progress, prosperity, and development for the district, Oyo State, and Nigeria at large.
