PRESIDENT TINUBU CONDOLES WITH APC NATIONAL SECRETARY, AJIBOLA BASIRU, OVER THE PASSING OF HIS MOTHER
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu extends his heartfelt condolences to the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Surajudeen Ajibola Basiru, on the passing of his mother, Sidikat Abake Basiru, on Sunday.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on information and strategy, Bayo Onanuga the President commends the late matriarch’s sense of discipline and responsibility, instilling in her children the values of integrity, faith, selfless service, and discipline.
The statement notes that Senator Basiru’s contributions to national development and the growth of the APC reflect the quality of his upbringing.
President Tinubu prayed that Almighty Allah to grant the departed matriarch Aljanah Firdaus and comfort Senator Basiru, other members of the family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult period.
He further urges all Mama's survivors to find solace in the exemplary life she lived and the enduring legacy that she has left behind.
