The Senate Committee on Drugs and Narcotics has assured the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) of its full support in its ongoing offensive against substance abuse and illicit drug trafficking.
The assurance was given when the newly appointed chairman of the Senate committee, Senator Joseph Igiagbe Ikpea paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Agency, Brig Gen Mohamed Buba Marwa (rtd) at the NDLEA national headquarters in Abuja.
The visit has establish a new partnership as both agreed to sustain the drug supply reduction and drug demand reduction efforts across the country.
