Col. Adegbola Mourns the Passing of Pa Raheem Durojaye, Describes Him as One of the Greatest Pillars of Saki
Saki, Oyo State — A leading APC senatorial aspirant for the Oyo North Senatorial District, Col. Gbenga Adegbola (Rtd.), has expressed deep sadness over the death of Pa Raheem Durojaye, describing the late elder statesman as one of the greatest pillars of Saki whose contributions to the growth, peace and development of the community would remain indelible.
In a condolence message, Col. Adegbola said the news of Pa Durojaye's passing came as a great shock, particularly to the people of Saki and Oke-Ogun who knew and appreciated his immense contributions to the community.
According to him, Pa Raheem Durojaye was not merely a respected elder, but a man whose influence transcended family, business and community circles. He was a dependable community figure whose counsel, courage, experience and commitment to the wellbeing of the people earned him a special place in the hearts of many.
Col. Adegbola noted that the late Pa Durojaye belonged to a generation of Saki's illustrious sons who dedicated their lives to building the community and creating opportunities for others.
He described him as a pillar of Saki, a man of courage, wisdom and integrity, whose footprints would continue to be remembered long after his departure.
A Man Who Served His Community
Pa Raheem Durojaye was widely regarded as a prominent businessman, politician and influential community figure during his lifetime. His involvement in the affairs of Saki made him an important personality whose voice commanded respect among the people.
Col. Adegbola stressed that the passing of such a personality represents a significant loss not only to his immediate family but to the entire Saki community.
