NIGER STATE POLICE COMMAND ELIMINATES 3 KIDNAPPERS; RESCUES 2 VICTIMS
The Niger State Police Command says it has rescued two abducted victims and eliminated three suspected kidnappers during a rescue operation in Wawa Forest, following a report of abduction from Wako Village in New-Bussa.
The Command says its surveillance team, in collaboration with vigilantes, engaged the three suspected kidnappers in a gun battle leading to the rescue of the victims unhurt, while other suspects escaped with bullet injuries.
In a related development, the Police also arrested another suspect Yahuza Bature in Minna with a motorcycle allegedly stolen from a victim after collecting eight hundred thousand naira under false pretence to supply gold items.
