OSUN APC REJECTS PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGN COUNCIL LIST, SEEKS REVIEW
The Osun State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress APC has expressed displeasure over the composition of the Presidential Campaign Council members and appealed for review to accommodate a large spectrum of committed party members and other critical Stakeholders'
A statement by the State Publicity Secretary Wole Adunola and other members of the state working committee raised concerns over omission of several members of the State Working Committee who by default should be statutory members of the council while the composition appeared inconsistent with the earlier presidential directive reportedly naming Governor Ademola Adeleke as the Director-General of the Presidential Campaign Council in Osun State.
The State further disagreed with the inauguration of a broad-based campaign team to drive the presidential campaign across the state, as it is unclear why a different structure has now emerged without adequate clarification or alignment with the existing arrangement for full understanding of distinct roles and responsibilities of various structures aimed at ensuring total victory for president president Bola Ahmed Tinubu come 2027
