A COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED BY THE HALLELUYAH POLITICAL REFORMED MOVEMENT (HPRM) IN RESPONSES TO THE COMMUNIQUÉS ISSUED BY BOTH THE EXECUTIVE OF THE PEOPLE’S DEMOCRATIC PARTY (PDP), OYO NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT, HELD AT ISEYIN ON FRIDAY 17TH OCTOBER,2025 AND THE MEETING OF THE FORMER POLITICAL OFFICE HOLDERS OF PDP OKE OGUN, HELD AT SAKI, ON SUNDAY 19TH OCTOBER, 2025.
The leadership and members of the Halleluyah Political Reform Movement (HPRM), Oke Ogun met at Iseyin, Oyo State, on Tuesday 21ST October, 2025, to deliberate on the recent communiqués issued by both the Exco of Oyo North Senatorial District of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Iseyin and that of the meeting of the former political office holders of PDP, Oke Ogun at Saki
After due consideration, the Movement hereby issued the following responses and clarifications:
1.That the Halleluyah Political Reformed Movement viewed the communiqués issued by both the Oyo North PDP Executives and Oke Ogun PDP political office holders as a panicky and reactionary statements born out of fear and shock over the political exit of Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola (a.k.a. Halleluyah) — a respected national leader, bridge-builder and a strong political pillar of Oyo State politics whose departure has clearly created a big vacuum that's very difficult for them to fill.
2.That the attempts to downplay Senator Agboola’s influence in Oyo State politics is not only ridiculous but also laughable.
The record clearly showed that during the 2023 general elections, under his firm political coordination, the PDP won the House of Representatives and Oyo State House of Assembly seats in his immediate constituencies while the present Deputy Governor of Oyo State, the Senatorial chairman of PDP Oyo North Senatorial District and Hon Santana from Kisi lost both their State and federal constituencies of House of Assembly and House of Representatives seats gallantly. Likewise, Hon Demola Agbarapo who has been fumbling about is nothing but mere paper weights politician. The State House of Assembly member from ATISBO/SAKI EAST State Constituency, Hon Wale Canada lost twice from ATISBO LGA, the local government origin of Demola Agbarapo and this shameless man is claiming to be somebody in politics.
This fact alone is enough proof to vindicate Senator Agboola of his unmatchable political strength, grassroots mobilization and strong organizational capacity.
3.That the Halleluyah Political Reformed Movement found it unfortunate that rather than engaged in sober reflection on the internal injustices, impositions and politics of exclusion and segregation that have weakened the PDP in Oyo State in recent times, some shameless leaders have resorted to issue Communiques that are full of distortion of facts, lies and personal attacks.
4.That Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola’s decision to leave the PDP was a matter of conviction and principle, not selfishness. He chose to stand with the truth, fairness and inclusiveness — the right values that have always guided his political life. His departure reflected a desire to restore political normalcy, internal democracy and give voice to the voiceless majority that have been sidelined and excluded in the scheme of things within the party and the government.
5.That no amount of propaganda, lies or coordinated attacks that can erase Senator Agboola’s outstanding performance and contributions to the growth and success of the PDP over the years in the minds of well meaning people of Oyo State. As a distinguished Senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria, the one and only PDP Senator in the whole of South West, the Deputy Chief Whip of the 7th National Assembly and a frontline leader in both Omituntun 1.0 and Omituntun 2.0 elections. He was a major instrument to the party’s victories and the stability of governance across Oke Ogun and Oyo State at large.
6.That the Halleluyah Political Reformed Movement reaffirmed its commitment to the progressive politics and the politics of total inclusiveness for the collective goodness of Oyo North Senatorial District, Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
The Movement stands firmly behind Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola's leadership, which remains people-centered, development-focused and rooted in fairness, equity and justice.
7.That the Halleluyah Political Reformed Movement (HPRM) urges those that are issuing those careless and reckless statements against Senator Agboola to desist for their own interests because people of Oke Ogun, Oyo North and Oyo State know their true leaders and will always recognize those who have genuinely worked for their progress, empowerment, and inclusiveness
8.That Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola’s political relevance transcends party boundaries. His network of loyal supporters, his record of service and his unwavering commitment to grassroots development continue to speak louder than the noise of detractors.
9.That the Halleluyah Political Reformed Movement calls on all its coordinators, ward leaders, local leaders, State leaders and supporters across Oke Ogun, Oyo North Senatorial District and entire Oyo State to remain calm, united, and focused as we continue to build a strong political platform that will champion the real aspirations of our people.
Finally, we reaffirm our total loyalty and solidarity with Senator Hosea Ayoola Agboola (Halleluyah) and pledge to work with him in whatever political direction he chooses for the benefit of the good people of Oke Ogun, Oyo North Senatorial District and Oyo State as a whole.
Long live Sen Hosea Ayoola Agboola Halleluyah
Long live Halleluyah Reformed Political Movement
Long live Oyo State
Long live Nigeria
