Ghanaian President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his country's readiness to host African leaders and key stakeholders for the African Union Extraordinary Summit on Health in Accra, describing the gathering as a defining moment for the continent to advance universal health coverage and strengthen Africa's health systems.
The summit, expected to bring together Heads of State, Ministers of Health, development partners and the media from across the continent, will focus on boosting local pharmaceutical manufacturing, mobilising sustainable health financing and building resilient healthcare systems.
