NIGERIA AT 66: DG NILDS CALLS FOR UNITY, INCLUSIVITY IN NATION-BUILDING
The Director-General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS), Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman has joined Nigerians across the country in commemorating the 66th Independence Anniversary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
In a statement, the Director-General reflected on Nigeria’s 66 years of independence, describing it as a testament to the resilience of the Nigerian people and the enduring efforts of successive administrations to advance on the vision and aspirations of the nation’s founding fathers.
While aligning with this year’s theme: “From Reforms to Stability: Consolidating Nigeria’s Renewed Hope for Shared Prosperity" Sulaiman called for unity, inclusivity, and a collective participation in nation-building.
The statement further urges Nigerians to remain committed to the Nigerian project, uphold national unity, and contribute actively in addressing the Nation’s security and developmental challenges.
