Referring to Colonel Gbenga Adegbola as the "True Liberator of Oke-Ogun" is never a gainsaying.

Though, Ted Turner, the executive Chairman of CNN once said that 'if you want to lead the parade, come to the front'. When Gbenga Adegbola Rtd.  started his journey to leading his own people in Oyo State especially Okeogun axis, he did not think of praise singing therein. 

Now, his consistency in bringing his people out of the cacoon has been noticed and the accolades has also started. His unmatched phylantropism has been noticed and rewarded. 

No wonder , he recently bagged a meritorious award from the think thank of Kakaki Okeogun Media, an Oke-Ogun ace media which celebrated 26 years down the line in journalism a few days ago.

He bagged an award which has never been given to anyone in Oke-Ogun "The Okeogun Liberator Award". 

Before the announcement of the award, he donated the whooping sum of 2 million naira, the unbeatable single donation from a highly spirited politician from Saki in Oke-Ogun.

It is also in the news that he has put smile on the face of a journalist Adebayo Samson, a.k.a MC Miranda Who lost his cherished car to a sudden and destructive accident caused by a trailer in Saki.
