INEC EXTENDS CVR EXERCISE FOR TWO WEEKS
The independent national Electoral Commission has extended the continuous voters registration exercise for another two weeks to enable new entrants complete the processes ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The extension window for the Continuous voters registration exercise is billed to commence Wednesday this week, to give new entrants who clocked eighteen years of age opportunity to register ahead of future electoral activities.
According to REC,,the exercise which can be assessed using online INEC portal is to discourage prospective registrants from trooping to the Commission's offices in the state for the exercise.
