LARUBAWA Steps Aside for Accord Unity, Raises Hon. Olajide Olatunbosun for Saki–Saki–Atisbo Federal Constituency
Saki, Oyo State — August 16, 2026
Hon. Sulaiman Ojo Olaitan, popularly known as LARUBAWA, has voluntarily stepped aside from the Accord Party’s House of Representatives race for Saki East, Saki West and Atisbo Federal Constituency, while throwing his weight behind Hon. Olajide Olatunbosun as the party’s candidate for the constituency.
The decision, which was communicated to his teeming supporters today, is a demonstration of political maturity, sacrifice and an unwavering commitment to the larger interest of the people.
LARUBAWA made it clear that his decision was not borne out of fear, pressure, intimidation or political coercion. Rather, it is a conscious and patriotic decision taken in the spirit of unity, collective purpose and the desire to build a stronger political platform capable of delivering meaningful representation to the people.
Addressing his supporters, LARUBAWA urged them to remain calm, peaceful and resolute, assuring them that the political journey is bigger than any individual ambition. According to him, leadership is not merely about occupying a seat; it is about making sacrifices when necessary so that the people may stand taller.

LARUBAWA therefore called on his supporters, associates and political family across Saki East, Saki West and Atisbo to embrace Hon. Olajide Olatunbosun and work together toward victory for the Accord Party.
He expressed confidence in the leadership of Dr. Oriyomi Hamzat, the Accord gubernatorial candidate in Oyo State, describing the party as a vehicle prepared to translate political promises into tangible development and genuine dividends of democracy.
He further reaffirmed his faith in the Accord project, stressing that the people deserve representation that listens, leadership that serves and government that delivers.
