PLATEAU INSECURITY: IGP DISU ASSURES RESIDENTS OF TIGHTER SECURITY
Fresh concerns over killings in Plateau State have triggered renewed security measures, as the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Disu, assured the residents of intensified intelligence gathering, arrests and coordinated operations to protect communities in the state.
Francis Fom reports that the IGP Disu gave the assurance while in Plateau State on Wednesday to assess the security situation and condole the state government and the people over the recent killings in Mangu and other affected areas.
