POLICE AFFAIRS MINISTER RECEIVES NEW POLICE ACADEMY COMMANDANT & OUTGOING COMMANDANT

Minister of Police Affairs, Senator Ibrahim Gaidam, has received the newly appointed Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, AIG Auwal Musa, alongside the former Commandant, DIG Sadiq Abubakar, retired.

The meeting focused on strengthening police training, professional development, discipline, leadership and institutional capacity.
Senator Gaidam congratulated AIG Auwal Musa on his appointment, expressing confidence in his experience and leadership to further reposition the Academy as a centre of excellence in policing education.

The Minister also commended former Commandant, DIG Sadiq Abubakar, for his contributions to the Academy and the development of policing in Nigeria.
Gaidam assured the new Commandant of the Ministry’s support and goodwill as he assumes responsibility for advancing the mandate and sustaining the reputation of the Nigerian Police Academy, Wudil.
