Politics is Sacrifice, Not Business” — Oyo Guber Hopeful, Dr. Adewale Kolapo Kareem Reveals.
My Journey of Service.
Before now, I have been privileged to contribute to the development of Oyo State and Nigeria through several initiatives — from founding Boiling Point International Schools and Attaofeequ Billahi International School to establishing AB Farm and other ventures that promote education, food security, and economic empowerment.
Through these efforts, I have sought to invest in our youth, create jobs, and build sustainable livelihoods. My philanthropy is not a campaign tool — it is a lifelong commitment. I have supported schools, awarded scholarships, and assisted institutions and individuals in need — not for publicity, but because I believe in lifting others up.
These acts of service have shaped my worldview and my sense of responsibility. I am driven by a genuine desire to see Oyo State flourish — not for a privileged few, but for all our people: the youth, the elderly, the hardworking dreamers who believe in a better tomorrow.
In recognition of these contributions, the League of Imams and Alfas in Oyo State honoured me with the chieftaincy title “Fakhar Soliheen of Oyo State” — The Pride of the Righteous of Oyo State.
As the first to bear this title, I see it not merely as an honour, but as a moral obligation to uphold integrity, fairness, and righteousness — virtues that must define public leadership.
It is from this conviction that I have chosen to serve — to seek the mandate of our people as the next Governor of Oyo State. I believe that leadership should be transparent, inclusive, and innovation-driven — leadership that listens, unites, and delivers.
